The much-anticipated trailer for Kalki 2898 AD has been released. The video shows how Amitabh Bachchan's Ashwatthama and Deepika Padukone's character aim at improving their conditions in the dystopian world of futuristic Kashi.

Prabhas as Bhairava steals the show in the later part of the trailer. He and his customized car Bujji navigate through an epic battle towards the end of the trailer. The makers have also shown glimpses of Disha Patani, who seemingly would play the role of Prabhas' love interest. However, the same cannot be said with confirmation.

The larger-than-life visuals and extravagant background score made the trailer a great watch. In one of the instances, Amitabh Bachchan's Ashwatthama also informs Deepika's characters of the importance of the child she is bearing. Ashwatthama also notes that the child would change the course of time in the movie and pave the way for a better age.
The trailer also stars eminent actors Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, Pasupathy, and Saswata Chatterjee. The movie is scheduled to release on June 27.
