Shah Rukh Khan recently received the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera Award at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. The award was bestowed upon him for his contributions to cinema. Later, the actor also engaged in a lively chat session where he discussed about his upcoming project, King.
During the interview, Shah Rukh reflected on the challenges of action movies. He shared that he is gearing up to undergo a weight loss regimen to perform the action sequences in the movie as truthfully as possible. “Action is difficult, you have to practice it learn it and there are doubles doing some of the dangerous stunts. I have some wonderful guys. But 80 percent, you have to finally do it yourself if you have to sell it truthfully. Otherwise, it doesn’t look right,” he added.
Opening up further, SRK noted that the action sequences look glamorous onscreen, but filming them isn’t glamorous at all. He quipped that he requires to be fitter for his next movie, King. The actor added that filming the action sequences are “painful”.
While Shah Rukh did not go into other details about the movie, some reports suggest that Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma will also be starring in pivotal roles.
