Adolescence could come back with a new case?
In an interview with a leading news portal, Christine, who plays Jamie Miller’s mother Manda, shared that she doesn’t know what the future might hold. Explaining that the show’s story can’t progress after the fourth episode, she maintained that the mini-series is complete. However, she did mention that a new season with a new case would be “amazing.” The show’s themes could then be explored with a fresh story.

In an earlier interview, Graham had teased a second instalment. When asked about Season 2, he simply said, “Let’s see how the figures are.” He also shared that the possibility of creating another story is open.
Meanwhile, Netflix has not confirmed any plans for a second season. The series can still go on as a larger anthology exploring the realities of today’s youth.
