Soha Ali Khan Has A Priceless Advice For Nephew Ibrahim Ali Khan After Nadaaniyans Reviews

Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan's much talked about debut could not manage to impress audiences. His first film Nadaaniyan, where he was paired opposite Khushi Kapoor was released on an OTT platform last month. It received backlash for its dialogues, plot and acting. Amid this backlash, Ibrahim's aunt Soha Ali Khan has a golden piece of advice for him.

During an interview, the actress was asked about Ibrahim facing trolling and what advice would she give him. She answered, "Number one, I think you need to have thick skin when you join this world. One needs to digest people’s opinions or then don’t read the comments. But, I feel, sometimes, it’s important to read the comments because you can’t just work in a vacuum. You have to be receptive to certain criticism, and you have to work on your craft and go forward."

She continued, "The only thing you can do is have some kind of armour. Do not shut yourself to the world and surround yourself only with love and people who are going to say positive things and be like yes-men. Be open to criticism, introspect and work towards your craft. Don’t let your film’s success or failure, perhaps, destroy you in ways but also recognise where you need to work on something and become better."

Meanwhile, Soha Ali Khan can be seen in the film Chhorii 2 with Nushrratt Bharuccha, Sourabh Goyal and Jitendra Kumar. Filmfare rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and said in its review, "While it's laudable that Chhorii 2 address such pertinent issues as infanticide and child marriage, it goes about in a very ham-handed way. Watch the film for its sincere performances." The Vishal Furia directorial is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
