Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be collaborating with John Cena on his upcoming film, Heads of State. The film also stars Idris Elba, with whom Cena shared the screen in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. In an interview, the actor-wrestler spoke about sharing the screen with Chopra and stated that the actress belongs to the team.
He shared that Idris and he developed a strong chemistry when they first shared the screen in James Gunn's film, but when Priyanka joined the cast, she stepped right in. "She belongs to the team", said John Cena and continued, "She kicks a** in this movie."

The trailer of the film was released last month, and it kicked off with a chaotic mid-air sequence that set the tone for the chaos. The U.S. President, played by John Cena and the UK Prime Minister, played by Idris Elba, find themselves caught in the middle of a conspiracy when their plane is attacked. Stranded in hostile territory, the two leaders, who aren’t exactly on friendly terms, must set aside their differences and join hands to save not just themselves, but the world from a growing crisis.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays Noel Bisset, a MI6 agent who takes control of the situation. "A lot of people want you dead. My mission is to deliver you to the most secure location on this continent," says her character to the two world leaders. Directed by Nobody director Ilya Naishuller, the upcoming action-comedy stars an ensemble led by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, John Cena and Idris Elba. The film will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on July 2.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is also set to star opposite Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29, marking her return to Telugu cinema after almost two decades. She also has The Bluff and Citadel Season 2 in the pipeline.
