Amitabh Bachchan has always had a way with words, both on and off screen. Known for his powerful performances, he’s equally admired for how gracefully he handles social media. Whether it's an emotional note or a cheeky comeback, Big B rarely misses the mark. Just recently, during a late-night interaction with fans on X (formerly Twitter), one user decided to troll him with a comment about his sleep schedule.

The comment, though snide in tone, didn’t shake Amitabh’s composure. The user said, “Samay se so jaaya karo, varna lambi umar bhi nahi tikegi” — essentially suggesting that staying up late could cost him his long life. Without losing his cool, Amitabh responded in his signature style: “Mere maran ki baat karne ke liye dhanyawad; Ishwar ki kripa.” With just one line, he turned the troll into a moment of quiet grace, winning over fans yet again.
This wasn’t the first time he addressed criticism with dignity. In a blog post last month, he candidly shared how he’s constantly advised on everything—from how to sign his name, what to wear, to what he should or shouldn’t say. He wrote, “When you talk, they ask why you talk. When you don’t, they ask why you’re silent.” The post reflected his calm defiance and the inner strength that comes with decades of being in the public eye.

On the work front, Amitabh was recently seen in Vettaiyan, where he reunited with Rajinikanth after 33 years. While the film didn’t exactly hit the mark with audiences, fans were thrilled to see the legends share screen space again. Next up, he’s set to return as Ashwatthama in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, a role that earned him much praise in the original. The next chapter of the saga is expected to begin filming in December.
