A Love Story with an Unexpected Edge
The previously released posters for Maine Pyar Kiya were eye-catching, to say the least, showcasing the characters covered in blood and wielding a variety of weapons. These images, hinting at a possible narrative twist, have piqued curiosity around how director Fazil Faziludeen plans to balance elements of a romantic comedy with darker undertones. Given the buzz around the unconventional promotional materials, the film is expected to deliver an unusual yet entertaining experience.
Hridhu Haroon, known for his commendable performances in All We Imagine as Light and Mura, and who will soon appear in Texas Tiger, is steadily carving a niche in Malayalam cinema. Paired opposite him is Preity Mukhundhan, who recently garnered attention in the ensemble drama Kannappa, sharing screen space with stars like Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, Kajal Agarwal, Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar. Her next outing, Idhayam Murali, opposite Atharvaa, is already generating positive buzz, adding further excitement around her role in Maine Pyar Kiya.

A Promising Crew Behind the Camera
Helmed by debutant director Fazil Faziludeen, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside BLKFZL, the film boasts a talented ensemble behind the scenes. Music composer Electronic Kili, known for his experimental yet melodious tracks, is handling the songs, while Mihraj Khalid provides the background score, enhancing the film's intriguing vibe. Lyricist Muthu lends poetic depth to the film's soundtrack.
The technical crew is equally impressive, with Don Paul P leading cinematography duties, capturing the visual essence of the story. Kannan Mohan is tasked with editing, ensuring the narrative stays crisp and engaging. Sunil Kumaran brings his artistic flair as the art director, while Kalai Kingston oversees the stunts, hinting at action sequences complementing the comedic and romantic aspects.
Maine Pyar Kiya is being produced and distributed by Spire Productions, with Sanju Unnithan serving as the producer and Binu Nair as the executive producer.
