This week marked the legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s 93rd birth anniversary. Many celebrities came out to convey their respects and express their gratitude for the decades of work she bestowed upon the fraternity.
AR Rahman released a title featuring the late singer, Asha Bhosle herself, titled Asha Forever. The music video integrates the use of AI technology, narrating her story from a young aspiring artist to becoming the legend we know her as.
Asha Forever was released under Rooh Records in India and has since become available for streaming across various music streaming platforms worldwide. This special song was unveiled in the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, and the granddaughter of Asha Bhosle, Zanai Bhosle.
Zanai Bhosle, who is also a singer, shared her heartfelt tribute to her grandmother, Asha Bhosle, through an Instagram post.
She stated, “Happy birthday Ashaai.. on this particular birthday you have shown me that you are immortal.. you live with US through your voice and you live with ME through your love and wisdom.. this song is your gift to us with which you part but your voice shall remain till the end of time.. happy 93!! I love you.”
In reference to the song Asha Forever, she also mentioned a particular section of the song she resonated with the most. She continued, “Just FYI I love the lyrics in this part because you taught me how to be a diva, and malika of all time. You were and so I became.”

Zanai Bhosle has released her songs across various platforms. Having been trained heavily by her grandmother, Zanai has a strong base in Indian classical music.
